What is Collector Exchange?

Collector Exchange is an all-in-one platform for serious TCG and LEGO collectors. It brings together market intelligence, collection tracking, a community marketplace, a curated online store, and deal feeds — all in one place.

The platform is built around three core properties, plus several specialist tools:

Creating an Account

Signing up is free and takes less than a minute. Head to the sign-in page and choose how you'd like to create your account:

• Sign in with Discord — uses your existing Discord account. Quick and easy if you already use Discord.
• Sign in with Google — uses your Google account. One click and you're in.
• Magic link (email) — enter your email address and we'll send you a one-click login link. No password needed.

After signing in for the first time, you'll choose a display name and optionally set up a passkey and push notifications.

Signing In

You have several ways to sign in each time you visit:

• Passkey — the fastest option. Uses Windows Hello, Face ID, Touch ID, or your password manager.
• Discord or Google — tap the button and you're in, as long as you're already logged into those services.
• Magic link — enter your email and check your inbox for a login link. Links expire after 15 minutes.

Your session stays active for 30 days, so you won't need to sign in again on the same device unless you log out.

Magic Link Not Arriving?

• Check your spam or junk folder — add noreply@collectorexchange.com.au to your safe senders list.
• Wait a minute or two — delivery can occasionally take a moment.
• Links expire after 15 minutes. If yours has expired, request a new one.
• Make sure you're using the same email you signed up with.

Existing Whop / Collector+ Members

If you originally joined through Whop, your account is automatically recognised. Sign in using the same email you used on Whop and your Collector+ membership carries over — no extra steps needed.

Profile Settings

Access your profile by tapping your avatar in the top navigation. From there you can manage:

• Display name — how other users see you on the platform.
• Theme — switch between dark and light mode.
• Passkeys — add or manage passkeys for quick sign-in.
• Push notification preferences — choose which alerts you want to receive.
• Delivery address — used when buying on the Exchange or Virtual LGS.

Public Profile

Your public profile shows your display name, seller reputation (if you sell on the Exchange), and your public collection if you choose to share it. Other users can follow you to get notified when you list new items.

Your email address, real name, and home address are never shown to other users.

Privacy & Security

Your personal information is used only to manage your account and send platform notifications. We don't sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. Payments are handled securely through Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

Browsing Sets & Prices

TCG Vault covers 7 trading card games: Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Gundam, and Sorcery. Tap any TCG to see every available set, then tap a set to browse its full card list with live Australian market prices.

You can search for cards, sort by price or card number, and filter by owned or missing cards.

Tracking Your Collection

There are two ways to add cards to your collection:

Your collection syncs automatically across all your devices when you're signed in.

Containers

Organise your collection with custom containers. Your default container is "My Collection", but you can create your own like "For Trade", "Grading Queue", or "Wishlist". Cards can be moved between containers at any time.

Portfolio Tracking

The Portfolio page shows all your tracked items with completion progress and estimated market value in AUD. It includes:

• TCG cards & sealed — prices pulled live from market data
• LEGO sets — tracked with live eBay and Amazon pricing
• Manual items — add anything with a custom name, value, and quantity (great for slabs, promos, or items not in the database)

Portfolio value history is tracked over time with a chart showing daily snapshots and 7-day change.

Sharing Your Collection

Make your collection public and share it with a unique URL. Other collectors can browse what you own without seeing your cost basis or profit/loss figures. Toggle public sharing on or off at any time from the Portfolio page.

Bulk Import

Import up to 500 items at once via CSV file. Download the template from the My Collection page, fill it in, and upload — duplicates are automatically handled.

TCG Calendar

The TCG Calendar shows upcoming release dates for all supported trading card games. Stay ahead of new set launches and plan your purchases.

Social — Collectors

The Social page lets you discover other collectors on the platform. Browse public collections, see what others are collecting, and find collectors with similar interests.

What's the Exchange?

The Collector Exchange is a community marketplace where members buy and sell TCG sealed product, singles, graded cards, and LEGO sets. It supports both auctions and Buy-It-Now (fixed price) listings.

Anyone with a free account can browse and buy. Selling is available to all members, with Collector+ members getting extra tools like unlimited listings, bulk import, and scheduled go-live times.

Buying on the Exchange

Browse listings, place bids on auctions, or purchase Buy-It-Now items immediately. Add listings to your watchlist to keep track of items you're interested in.

When you win an auction or complete a purchase, you'll receive a notification with next steps. Head to My Orders to view payment details and track your order.

Bidding & Anti-Sniping

Place a bid above the current highest bid. Bids are binding, so only bid on items you genuinely intend to buy.

Any bid placed in the last 2 minutes of an auction automatically extends the closing time by 90 seconds — this stops last-second sniping and gives everyone a fair chance.

BreakRoom

The BreakRoom is a live auction experience where items go live in real-time with a countdown timer. Watch items drop one at a time, place bids on the spot, and compete with other collectors. It's a faster, more exciting way to buy.

Selling on the Exchange

To start selling, apply via your Profile page. Once approved, you can create listings with:

• Title, category, and condition
• Up to 4 photos of the actual item
• Starting bid + optional reserve (for auctions) or a fixed price (for Buy-It-Now)
• Shipping cost and accepted payment methods

Free accounts can have up to 5 listings active at once. Collector+ members get unlimited listings, bulk import from eBay/Shopify, scheduled go-live times, and the ability to send announcements to followers.

Wanted to Buy (WTB)

Can't find what you're looking for? Post a Wanted to Buy request describing the item you're after, your budget, and preferred condition. Other members can browse WTB posts and reach out if they have what you need.

Social Selling

If you've made your collection public, you can turn on Social Selling (Collector+ feature) to let other users inquire about items you own — even if they're not formally listed. Accept an inquiry to start a private chat and negotiate a deal.

Payments & Shipping

Sellers set their own accepted payment methods (commonly bank transfer/PayID, PayPal, or Wise). After the buyer confirms payment, sellers should ship within 3 business days with a tracking number.

For items worth A$200 or more, signature on delivery is required to protect both parties.

Ratings & Trust

After a transaction, both buyer and seller can leave a star rating and review. This builds your public reputation and helps other members make informed decisions.

What is the Virtual LGS?

The Virtual LGS (Local Game Store) is the official Collector Exchange storefront. Unlike the peer-to-peer Exchange marketplace, the Virtual LGS sells directly to you — with product sourced, packed, and shipped by the Collector Exchange team.

It's designed to be a trusted, reliable source for TCG product at competitive prices, with the convenience of an online store and the community feel of your local game shop.

What's in the Store

The Virtual LGS is organised into clear categories:

• Pre-Orders — reserve upcoming releases before they drop. Secure your allocation early.
• Sealed — booster boxes, bundles, ETBs, collection boxes, and other sealed product across all supported TCGs.
• Singles — individual cards available for purchase.
• Supplies — sleeves, toploaders, card savers, storage boxes, and other accessories.
• Breaks — live pack-opening events where you buy a slot and receive the hits from your allocated packs.

Buy List

The Buy List shows items the store is actively looking to purchase. If you have product to sell, check the Buy List for current buy prices and submit your items for review.

KIRA Rewards

Every purchase on the Virtual LGS earns KIRA — the Collector Exchange loyalty currency. KIRA accumulates in your account and can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases. Check your KIRA balance from your account page or the store header.

Orders & Shipping

After placing an order, track its status from My Orders in the store menu. The Virtual LGS ships Australia-wide, with shipping calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

What is TCG Signals?

TCG Signals tracks sealed product across 7 trading card games — Pokémon, One Piece, Lorcana, Dragon Ball, Gundam, Magic: The Gathering, and Sorcery — and calculates an investment signal for each product based on live market data.

The core metric is the Adjusted Ratio: the total value of the cards inside a box compared to what the sealed box costs. A higher ratio means the cards inside are worth significantly more than the box price.

Signal Ratings

Each product gets a signal rating based on its Adjusted Ratio:

Each product also shows qualifier tags for extra context:

• Timing Maturity — how long the set has been out (new sets have less reliable signals)
• Reprint Risk — likelihood of the set being reprinted (which would push prices down)
• Concentration — whether the set's value is spread across many cards or concentrated in a few

Data Freshness

Market data refreshes 4 times per day (4am, 10am, 4pm, and 10pm UTC) using live eBay Australian price feeds. Prices, ratios, and signals update automatically.

eBay Buy Links

Each product row includes a direct link to a pre-filtered eBay search for that exact item. These affiliate links support the platform at no extra cost to you.

What is Brick Signals?

Brick Signals tracks 1,600+ LEGO sets across 25 categories (Star Wars, Icons, Technic, and many more). Each set gets an investment score based on retirement timing, category strength, and current pricing — helping you spot buying opportunities before and after sets retire.

How Scores Work

Each set is scored from 0 to 100 using a multi-factor model. The biggest factors are how close the set is to retiring, how strong the category is historically, and whether the set has a strong licence.

Retirement Tracking

LEGO sets are only produced for a limited time. Once a set retires, secondary market prices typically rise. Brick Signals tracks estimated retirement dates so you can buy at retail before scarcity drives prices up.

Pricing Sources

Prices come from eBay AU, Amazon AU/US, and official LEGO RRP. Data refreshes daily so you're always seeing current pricing.

Brick Portfolio

Track your LEGO sets with the Brick Portfolio. Add sets by set number, record your purchase price and date, and watch the value change over time with live market pricing.

TCG Deals

TCG Deals surfaces sealed TCG products (booster boxes, bundles, displays) that are priced below their current market value on eBay and Amazon. It compares prices across platforms so you can quickly spot opportunities to buy at a discount.

Brick Deals

Brick Deals shows LEGO sets available at the best prices across eBay and Amazon — sorted by discount from retail. A great way to find sets at below-RRP prices, especially for larger high-value sets.

Exchange Watchlist

When browsing the marketplace, tap the bookmark or heart icon on any listing to add it to your watchlist. You'll get notified before auctions you're watching are about to end.

TCG Signals Watchlist

On the TCG Signals dashboard, tap the star icon on any set to add it to your watchlist. You can set an alert threshold — when the set's ratio moves above or below your target, you'll get an email notification.

Watchlist alerts are sent on Monday and Thursday mornings. Your watchlist syncs across devices.

LEGO Watchlist

On Brick Signals, add LEGO sets to your watchlist to track price changes and get notified about price drops.

Following Sellers

Follow sellers on the Exchange. When a seller you follow lists a new item, you'll get a notification — so you never miss new listings from your favourite sellers.

Types of Notifications

The platform can notify you about a wide range of events:

• Auction alerts — outbid, auction ending soon, auction won
• Selling alerts — new bids on your listings, items sold, order updates
• Watchlist alerts — price drops, auctions ending soon, ratio threshold triggers
• Follower alerts — new listings from sellers you follow
• Message alerts — buyer/seller messages and social selling inquiries
• Offer alerts — new offers on your items
• BreakRoom alerts — upcoming events and live break notifications

Push Notifications

Push notifications are real-time alerts that pop up on your device — even when you're not on the site. They're the fastest way to stay on top of auctions, price changes, and messages.

Notification Preferences

You're in full control of what you receive. From your Profile, go to Push Notification Preferences to toggle individual categories on or off:

• Bidding & auction activity
• Selling & order updates
• Followers & new listings
• Watchlist items
• Messages & offers
• Social selling inquiries
• BreakRoom events

Email Notifications

Key events also trigger email notifications — including auction wins, order updates, and watchlist alerts. These are sent automatically and don't require any setup beyond having a valid email on your account.

Add to Home Screen

Collector Exchange works as an "app" on your phone without needing to download anything from an app store. Adding it to your home screen gives you:

• A dedicated app icon on your phone
• Full-screen experience (no browser toolbar)
• Faster loading
• Push notifications that work even when the app isn't open

Collector+ is $29.99/month (AUD or USD depending on your region). No lock-in contracts — cancel anytime and your access continues until the end of your billing period.

Brick Signals is also available as a standalone subscription at $9.95/month if you only need the LEGO tools.

Managing Your Subscription

All billing is handled through Stripe. To update your payment method, view invoices, or cancel:

Upgrading

Upgrade to Collector+ at any time from the pricing page. Premium features activate immediately after payment.

What's in the Discord?

The private Discord server is exclusively for Collector+ members and includes:

• Market intel — member-shared investment insights and price movement discussion
• Restock monitors — real-time alerts when in-demand products come back in stock
• Reprint alerts — early warnings about set reprint announcements
• Deal callouts — community-sourced discounts and clearance finds
• Collection & investment chat — general discussion, pull results, and portfolio talk
• Trade & sales — quick buy/sell/trade posts from the community

Connecting Your Discord

Look for the "Connect Discord" link in the navigation social icons (the Discord logo). Tap it to go through a quick authorisation flow — you'll be added to the server with the member role automatically applied.

If Your Membership Lapses

If your Collector+ subscription is cancelled or lapses, your member role is automatically removed — you'll stay in the server but won't see the private channels. Reactivating your subscription restores access within a few minutes.

WhatsApp Support

The fastest way to get one-on-one help is via WhatsApp. Tap the green WhatsApp icon in the navigation bar on any page to send us a message directly.

Discord

If you're a Collector+ member, post in the support channel on Discord — the admin team and community are always around to help.

Common Quick Fixes

• Can't sign in? — Try a different method (passkey, Discord, Google, or magic link). If using magic link, check your spam folder.
• Collection not syncing? — Make sure you're signed in on both devices. Reload the page to pull the latest data.
• Push notifications not working? — Check that you've granted notification permission in your browser settings. On iPhone, you must add the site to your home screen first.
• Can't access Collector+ features? — Make sure your subscription is active. Visit the Stripe portal to check your billing status.
